PROFESSOR BANYAN

Explanation of Name:

Like most professors, I've named my professor after a tree. Native to India, the Banytan Tree starts out its life as a fig. When it grows on other plants, its seeds germinate in the cracks and crevices of trees. It then starts to "strangle" the tree, killing it then taking it over. Since my region is based off India, I decided to name my professor after the national tree of India.

Description: Professor Banyan, like most Into natives, has light brown skin and black hair. He has brown eyes and thick eyebrows. Professor Banyan also has a thick, black mustache. Professor Banyan is 29 years old, and has attended Professor Oak's college classes at Celadon University in the Kanto Region.

Research: Professor Banyan studies the interactions between Pokemon and humans, and he is determined to prove his theory that Pokemon are better off without humans.
